Mireia [miˈɾɛjə] is a Tokyo-based, RCA-educated industrial design director specializing in turning complex technology into award-winning, tangible experiences for brands like Google, Meta, and Bowers & Wilkins. She works with objects to anchor innovation, elevate brands, and make digital interactions unmistakably physical. With a strong track record in audio (Denon, Marantz) and consumer electronics, Mireia now partners with companies large and small while dedicating time to exploratory research projects—ranging from small-scale plastic recycling (Precious Plastic) and furniture (Ishinomaki Lab) to the intersection of Japanese washi with computational origami.
After moving to Tokyo, Mireia joined the startup tonari, helping develop their low-latency, full-body communications portal. In 2023, she co-founded VWFNDR, a collective dedicated to designing for contemporary photography.
